Pair of Gunnar Asplund armchairs

A pair of rare armchairs by Gunnar Asplund, designed for the Göteborg Law Courts (1934-37). Asplund designed the Law Courts as an annex to the Göteborg city hall. The building was furnished by Asplund in collaboration with Carl-Axel Acking. The chairs feature a cherry wooden frame and the original dark blue upholstery with button detailing.
