Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) is a prestigious department store brand founded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1902 by Josef Sachs. The first NK department store opened in Stockholm in 1915, housed in an iconic Art Nouveau building designed by architect Ferdinand Boberg. Its motto, "It is the customer who determines our actions," emphasized customer satisfaction and innovation.
