Kay Fisker was a Danish architect and designer. Before starting his own office, he worked for renowned architects like Sigurd Lewerentz and Gunnar Asplund. Apart from designing a number of housing projects and the Århus University, he also furnished ships and designed furniture.
From 1936 to 1963 Fisker was a professor at the Royal Academy. From 1951 to 1957 he was a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
