Kauklahti Glassworks table lamp by Paavo Tynell

A rare table lamp by Taito and Kauklahti Glassworks, Finland. The lamp has an opaline glass base with a brass rosette and a pleated fabric shade.
The glass has a hand-painted floral motif, attributed to the artist Kyllikki Salmenhaara (1915 - 1981). Kauklahti produced lamps for Paavo Tynell and his Taito company during the 1930s and '40s.
The measurements stated are of the lamp with the shade. The shade is newly made and other dimensions and colors are available upon request.
