A rare table lamp by Paavo Tynell for Taito and Kauklahti Glassworks, featuring a spherical glass base with a metal fitting, and a conical wooden slat shade.

The glass has a hand-painted floral motif, attributed to the artist Kyllikki Salmenhaara (1915 - 1981). Kauklahti produced lamps for Paavo Tynell and his Taito company during the 1930s and '40s.
