Kalmar Dornstab floor lamp

A variation on the Dornstab (‘thorn stick’) floor lamp, designed in 1947 by J.T. Kalmar. It is made out of a wooden, saber shaped stem with a curved brass foot and a pointed shade. The height of the shade is adjustable to five different positions on the stem.
