Jean Prouvé was a French metal worker, self-taught architect and designer who was one of the most important designers of the 20th century. Apart from his own projects, he also worked with designers and architects like Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Prouvé specialized in industrial style furniture and prefabricated houses and architectural components. He mostly worked with metal.
