A pair of easy chairs from the High Court in Chandigarh, India. De chairs are designed by Pierre Jeanneret and are made of a teak frame with a woven cane seating and backrest.

In 1950 the world renowned architect Le Corbusier was asked to design the capital of the states of Haryana and Punjab in the newly independent India. Le Corbusier designed the master plan and a number of buildings. Pierre Jeanneret, his cousin, served as the site architect. Jeanneret also designed several buildings for the city and the furniture for many projects, including the High Court.
