A long dining table by Atelier Marolles, under the direction of Jean Touret. This item was made around 1964 and marked by Atelier Marolles. The table top has the amazing carved texture that Touret's work is known for. The execution and design are attributed to Claude Lézé of the atelier. This unique, trapezium shaped, table (together with a set of stools) was commissioned by the father of the previous owner, who used them in his house in Blois, France. The short end side of the table is 58 cm / 22.8 inch wide at the one end and 73 cm / 28.7 inch at the other side.
