A lounge chair by British designer Ernest Race, designed in 1946 and produced by the Race Furniture Company. The chair is built on a metal base with wooden feet. Ernest Race is known for using waste sheet metal from old planes as a base material for his furniture and he was made a British Royal designer in 1953. The upholstery needs replacement. When desired, we can have the chair re upholstered for you in our own atelier.
