This lamp was designed by Letterio (Lillo) Mangano (1921 – 2002). The design is ingeniously simple: a swiveling jib style wall lamp, with a red metal stem, a height-adjustable white cylindric fabric shade and a brass counterweight. The measurements stated are of the lamp without the 35 cm diameter shade.

This lamp was part of the Finn Form collection. Italian designer Lillo Mangano was the owner and curator of this collection. It was started in 1958 and consisted of works by Finnish designers like Alvar Aalto, Tapio Wirkkala and Timo Sarpaneva.
