Dr. David Elliott Rogers was, amongst other functions, co-chairman of the National Commission on AIDS. He received his M.D. from Cornell Medical College in 1948 and had a long career in the medical field. Apart from this medical work, Rogers was an accomplished woodworker and sculptor.
