Lauritzen, Vilhelm

(1894 - 1984)

Vilhelm Lauritzen was a Danish architect and designer. He graduated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1921. After this, he started his own architectural firm, which he led until 1969. Some buildings he designed are the Radiohuset (Frederiksberg, 1936-41) and the Kastrup airport (1937-39). He often would also design the lighting for his projects. These lamps were produced by Louis Poulsen for the consumer market as well.
