Devon Dennett was an American craftsman, furniture designer and model maker. Several of his models were shown at the 1945 “Tomorrow's Small House” exhibition at MoMA, New York. He also worked on JFK airport (then known as the Pan Am terminal at Idlewild airport). He learned the craft from his mother, the women's rights activist Mary Coffin Ware Dennett (1872 - 1947), who was deeply interested in the Arts and Crafts movement.
The collection of Bloomberry has been driven by the cultural reference between architecture, art and design.
The quality of our collection is reflected in the sophistication of craftsmanship and the character of the scars of time. Our restoration workshops are built around the same principal and work to the highest degree of craftsmanship. Bloomberry is housed in a former textile factory located near Maastricht.
