Nane Tiri is a type of delicious flatbread frequently consumed in the Kurdish province.
The inspiration for this delicate sidetable is a woman holding a plate of flat bread over her head while also giving one hand to her child.  This table made of walnut wood has a very thin top that appears to be floating, but still maintains its stability.

This table is executed in plywood with a car paint finish and is customizable in color.

Hozan Zangana was born in 1983 in Kirkuk. In 1998, at age fifteen, he fled his country and applied for asylum in The Netherlands. There he studied at the esteemed art and design universities Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and Design Academy Eindhoven.
