A wonderfully made side table in solid citrus wood, by René-Jean Caillette. Beautiful connections and a warm patina.

Caillette grew up amongst wood, as his father was a woodworker. For René-Jean the combination of functionality and simplicity created the most beautiful pieces of furniture. He worked for the French manufacturer Charron from 1950 to 1972 and together with Geneviève Dangles, André Motte and Alain Richard they worked as Groupe 4.
