José Zanine Caldas coffee table

A handcrafted José Zanine Caldas wooden coffee table. It has a top in the shape of a four-leaf clover and stands on a tree trunk base.

The table comes with a certificate of authenticity by Euclides Zanine Caldas Neto, son of José Zanine Caldas

Caldas (1918-2001) was a self-taught Brazilian architect and designer. He made both sculptural, carved furniture from local woods and Modernist plywood furniture. In the early 1940s Zanine started the "Z Artistic Furniture" (“Móveis Artísticos Z”) line.
