A set of three elegant bronze vases by Danish designer Evan Jensen, 1930s. Two of the vases have a patinated and stylized surface decor and one has a smooth surface. The pieces are marked by Jensen. One is marked with the number 10 and 'Grand Prix Paris 1937', one with the number 12 and the other with the number 37.
The tallest vase is 19 cm high, the second 18.5 cm and the smallest is 12.5 cm.
Evan Jensen (1888 - 1978) was a Danish sculptor and designer. His work was shown at the Barcelona International Exposition (1929) and the Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques dans la Vie Moderne in Paris (1937). At both exhibitions he won a Grand Prix for his designs.
