Just Andersen vase

Andersen, Just, Other, Denmark, 1920s

Richly decorated metal vase or cup by Danish designer Ib Just Andersen (1884-1943). It is made of Disko metal; an alloy of lead and antimony, which was Andersen's own invention and named after the Disko Bay of Greenland, where he grew up.

Marked 'Just, 159', designed circa 1925.
