Paavo Tynell table lamp

A rare table lamp by Paavo Tynell for Taito, featuring a glass base produced and hand-painted with a floral motif by Kauklahti Glassworks. The lamp is fitted with a wide conical wooden slat shade.

The lamp was made during the War, when there was a scarcity of materials like brass, which makes this lamp more sober than the lamps Tynell is best known for.
