A very rare table lamp by Paavo Tynell for Taito, Finland. The lamp has a glass body with a metal cap. The glass was produced and hand-painted with a floral motif by Kauklahti Glassworks.
The lamp was made during the War, when there was a scarcity of materials like brass, which makes this lamp more sober than the lamps Tynell is best known for.
The measurements stated are those of the lamp without the shade. The shade is newly made and other dimensions and colors are available upon request.
