Winkelman & van der Bijl

Winkelman & Van der Bijl was a Dutch metalwork and lighting atelier active in Amsterdam from 1910 through the 1930s. Led by designer H.J. Winkelman, the firm produced hand-forged iron and bronze lighting, hardware, and architectural details for major Amsterdam School buildings. Their richly crafted, sculptural metalwork - often custom-made for interiors - has become highly collectible and is considered a key expression of Dutch Art Deco and Amsterdam School design.
