Wawer, Charlotte

Charlotte Wawer started designing lamps in Danzig, but she had to flee the city in 1945 and rebuilt her business in Osterode. The company, Charlotte Wawer Wohnraumleuchten, with about 50 employees, produced lampshades and lamps, characterized by a rich use of leather and parchment.
