Spanjaard, Frits

(1889 - 1978)

Frederik Salomon Spanjaard was a Dutch interior architect and furniture designer. He worked at the H. Pander & Zonen furniture company as a draftsman from 1918 to 1919. In 1919 he started working for the L.O.V. furniture company as a designer and artistic leader. He left the company in 1922 to start his own office.

His work was a combination of the styles of the Haagse School, De Stijl and New Objectivity.

For nearly two decades, the collection of Bloomberry has been driven by the cultural reference between architecture, art and design.

The quality of our collection is reflected in the sophistication of craftsmanship and the character of the scars of time. Our restoration workshops are built around the same principal and work to the highest degree of craftsmanship.
