Rizzatto, Poalo

Paolo Rizzatto is an Italian architect and designer. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, graduating in 1965. In 1978 he co-founded Luceplan with Riccardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi, establishing one of Italy’s leading lighting companies.

Rizzatto has designed widely across furniture and lighting, collaborating with manufacturers such as Artemide, Cassina, Flos, Kartell and others. His work is characterized by technical precision and attention to light quality. Designs by Rizzatto are held in the collections of institutions including the MoMA, New York, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
