Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida Niemeyer Soares Filho was a Brazilian architect. He was the most influential Brazilian architect and an import figure in international Modern architecture. He is known for numerous buildings all over the world and his work on the city of Brasília, in cooperation with Lúcio Costa.
