Lysberg, Hansen & Therp

Lysberg, Hansen & Therp was a Danish furniture manufacturer active in the mid-20th century. The company originated from the earlier firm Lysberg & Hansen, established in Copenhagen in 1920, and became known as Lysberg, Hansen & Therp A/S in 1933 when cabinetmaker Søren Therp joined as partner.

The workshop was recognized for its high-quality craftsmanship and production of furniture in collaboration with leading Danish architects and designers, including Frits Schlegel, Mogens Lassen, and Hvidt & Mølgaard. Their output ranged from bespoke pieces to series-produced works, often realized in fine hardwoods with meticulous detailing.

The firm remained active into the 1960s, contributing to the international reputation of Danish Modern furniture through both private commissions and institutional projects.
