Joannes Maria (Jan) Koldeweij was a Dutch blacksmith and designer who was active from 1949 to circa 1975. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague and was also trained as a gold and silversmith and as a blacksmith. He designed and crafted ornamental ironwork for public buildings such as schools, town halls, theaters and Catholic churches as well as private clients. In the 1970s he also designed jewelry.
