Vincenzo Goracci (b. 1933, Torrita di Siena, Tuscany) is an Italian ceramist and founder of Ceramiche/Laboratorio San Rocco.
Trained in Liguria - working in a ceramics factory in Santa Margherita Ligure and learning the lathe technique with sculptor Eliseo Salino - he opened his own studio in Rapallo in 1959, taking the San Rocco name from the nearby church. With his partner Rina he introduced in Italy the raised “cuerda seca” decoration technique, producing vases, panels and tableware noted for tactile relief and vibrant glazes.
The collection of Bloomberry has been driven by the cultural reference between architecture, art and design.
The quality of our collection is reflected in the sophistication of craftsmanship and the character of the scars of time. Our restoration workshops are built around the same principal and work to the highest degree of craftsmanship. Bloomberry is housed in a former textile factory located near Maastricht.
