Pier Giacomo (1913 - 1968) and his brother Achille Castiglioni (1918 - 2002) were Italian architects and designers of furniture, lighting and other objects.
In the late 1930s Pier Giacomo started an architecture practice with his brother Livio and Luigi Caccia Dominioni. The practice closed in 1940. After the War, Pier and Livio started working with their recently graduated brother Achille. Livio left the team in 1952, but Pier and Achille would work together on their designs until Pier's death in 1968.
The collection of Bloomberry has been driven by the cultural reference between architecture, art and design.
