Gaetano Borsani (1885–1955) was an Italian furniture maker and founder of Atelier di Varedo, a workshop established in the early 20th century near Milan.
Trained as a craftsman, he specialized in finely executed wooden furniture, often combining solid construction with refined decorative details. His workshop produced custom interiors and furnishings, laying the foundation for the family’s design tradition.
In the 1930s his son Osvaldo Borsani joined the atelier under the name Arredamento Borsani, later evolving it into Tecno, the industrial design company that became internationally recognized after World War II.
The collection of Bloomberry has been driven by the cultural reference between architecture, art and design.
The quality of our collection is reflected in the sophistication of craftsmanship and the character of the scars of time. Our restoration workshops are built around the same principal and work to the highest degree of craftsmanship. Bloomberry is housed in a former textile factory located near Maastricht.
