A rare studio crafted root wood coffee table by Emil Milan. He made only a few furniture pieces. This was Milan's personal table and was used in the farmhouse in Pennsylvania where he had lived. The bowls (in the second picture) are also by Emil Milan and available at Bloomberry.

Emil Milan (1922-1985) was an American woodworker and sculptor who mostly made small objects and limited pieces of  furniture.
