A poof by Hozan Zangana. This piece is made using traditional upholstery techniques and materials, including spring feathers and horsehair.

The Shahbanu is handcrafted and customizable in finish and size. Typical for all his designs, Shahbanu integrates East and West, heritage and present time and has his unique handwriting.

The pictured 'Barmil' stone vessel by Zangana is also available at Bloomberry.

Hozan Zangana was born in 1983 in Kirkuk. In 1998, at age fifteen, he fled his country and applied for asylum in The Netherlands. There he studied at the esteemed art and design universities Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and Design Academy Eindhoven.
