Ralph Rapson Armchairs for Knoll and Associates, 1940s

A pair of early armchairs by Ralph Rapson for H.G.Knoll and Associates, 1940s. The chairs are made of a wooden frame and brown leather webbing. Both the wood and the leather have a beautiful dark patina. The leather needs restoration on some specific points, but we think the aging of the leather is too beautiful to completely replace it.
