A prototype chair designed by Dutch engineer and architect Ir. J.G. Athmer.

This prototype has a molded fiberglass shell, on a spider leg metal frame and has a black fabric upholstery. The chair is part of a full series of chairs Athmer developed. He offered his designs and production process to Wagemans & Van Tuinen (now Artifort). The prototype comes with extensive documentation and correspondence, which is historic material and very educational research material on both the processes and communications at the time.

A unique, historic piece in a mint condition.
