Late 18th century

A Danish folk art chair, made of green painted wood and a brown leather seating. Both are wonderfully aged. The back legs have a very old restoration that have been worn off from usage. Meanwhile, these parts have gained a wonderfully integrated patina with the rest of the chair. This aging makes you think of all the stories that are known to this antique chair. The year of creation is painted on the backrest: 1782.
