Barrw - A stool or side table by Hozan Zangana executed in mahogany and here published next to Charlotte Perriand stools and a Charlotte Perriand chair.

Barrw is customizable, to a certain extend, in size and finish.

Hozan Zangana was born in 1983 in Kirkuk. In 1998, at age fifteen, Hozan Zangana fled his country and applied for asylum in The Netherlands. There he studied at the esteemed art and design universities Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and Design Academy Eindhoven.

Hozan Zangana is on a silent quest to capture the cultural heritage of Kurdistan and ancient Iraq in modern-live physical objects.

Like Bloomberry, he reads the past differently. Hozan especially has the capacity to create a symbiosis between ancient Kurdistan and the modern western world - integrating east and west, heritage and modern times.
