Hozan Zangana "Barmil" vessels in stone, here combined with a Berga chair and a Charlotte Perriand stool from our collection.

Object Barmil represents the oil barrels for which the Kurdish region is known. It’s a source of income, but also a great source of conflict. Hozan remembers very well, as a child having to stand in line for water and petrol together with the other children in the neighborhood. When living through these hardships and being focused on survival there seems to be little or no attention for art and culture.

Executed in five different color stones. Available as single pieces.
