A large Italian ceramic floor vase by Galvani with a dark green glazing. Marked by Galvani and in an excellent condition.

The Galvani ceramic factory in Pordenone was founded in 1811 by Giuseppe Galvani. Under the artistic direction of Angelo Simonetto, and later in the 1930s, with the collaboration of Armando Pizzinato and Roberto Rosati, the factory evolved from its traditional production and began to create objects in a Modernist style, often decorated with airbrush designs.
