Gunnel Anita Nyman (née Gustafsson, 1909 - 1948) was a Finnish designer and glass and metal artist. She studied furniture design at the Central School of the Industrial Arts in Helsinki. She created metalwork for churches, but also designed furniture and the lighting for Helsinki's Swedish Theater. She started working as a designer for Taito, Paavo Tynell’s lighting company in 1932 and worked there for five years. She also worked for Idman and Orno.
After the war she transitioned to designing glass objects. In 1951, Gunnel Nyman was posthumously awarded a gold medal for glass work at the IX Milan Triennale.
