Georg Jensen High Back Mahogany and Rope Lounge Chair, 1967s

Lounge Chairs
United States

A Georg Jensen Mid-Century lounge chair, made of a mahogany frame with a thick, woven rope upholstery. The high backrest tilts backwards, but it has a straight headrest, for a comfortable reading position. The chair was acquired at the Highland Craft exhibition that was held at George Jensen Store on 5th Avenue in New York in the 1960s. A very rare piece in an excellent condition.
