A high tripod stool in black lacquered wood by Charlotte Perriand. The stool shows some wear and tear from aging.
The first tripod stool of this type by Perriand was designed in 1947 and produced by Georges Blanchon's Bureau Central de Construction. In 1956 Perriand designed this black edition for Steph Simon, in both a low and high version, that were later on also used to furnish some apartments in Les Arcs.
