A pair of diabolo shaped fibre cement planters by Eternit, Switzerland. The red lacquered 'Spindel' planter was designed in 1952 by Anton Bee for Eternit, Switzerland. The lower version in grey is from the same series.
The design is often attributed to Willy Guhl, but according to the Museum of Design Zurich, the 'Spindel' was designed by Anton G. Bee (1927), who was a pupil of Guhl.
The measurements stated are those of the red planter.
