A rare chandelier by Paavo Tynell for Taito, featuring a central decorated glass body with floral motifs. Curved patinated metal arms extend outward to support circular glass dishes with candle-style sockets. The glass parts were produced and hand-painted with a floral motif by Kauklahti Glassworks.
The chandelier was made during the war, when there was a scarcity of materials like brass, which makes this lamp more sober than the lamps Tynell is best known for.
