Orrefors glass and fabric ceiling lamp

An Art Deco ceiling lamp by Orrefors, Sweden. The lamp has a diffuser made of a round frosted glass plate with a smaller amber glass disc. The amber glass is decorated with a leaf motif in relief. It has a pleated fabric shade and a nickel-plated metal ball-decoration underneath.

Similar lamps are published in an Orrefors catalogue from 1937. At this time, Simon Gate and Edward Hald were the main designers at Orrefors.
