Lindh, Richard

Richard Lindh was a Finnish designer known for his work in ceramics and industrial design. He studied at the Institute of Industrial Arts in Helsinki and joined Arabia, the prominent Finnish ceramics manufacturer, in the 1950s. At Arabia he created a range of utilitarian household objects, vases, and tableware, characterized by clarity of form, restrained decoration, and an emphasis on functionality.

Lindh’s designs reflect the principles of Scandinavian modernism, balancing practicality with aesthetic refinement. His work for Arabia contributed to the company’s reputation for producing everyday objects of high quality and timeless design.
