Richard Lindh was a Finnish designer known for his work in ceramics and industrial design. He studied at the Institute of Industrial Arts in Helsinki and joined Arabia, the prominent Finnish ceramics manufacturer, in the 1950s. At Arabia he created a range of utilitarian household objects, vases, and tableware, characterized by clarity of form, restrained decoration, and an emphasis on functionality.
Lindh’s designs reflect the principles of Scandinavian modernism, balancing practicality with aesthetic refinement. His work for Arabia contributed to the company’s reputation for producing everyday objects of high quality and timeless design.
The collection of Bloomberry has been driven by the cultural reference between architecture, art and design.
The quality of our collection is reflected in the sophistication of craftsmanship and the character of the scars of time. Our restoration workshops are built around the same principal and work to the highest degree of craftsmanship. Bloomberry is housed in a former textile factory located near Maastricht.
