Hvidt, Peter and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen

(1907 - 1993)

Peter Hvidt (1916 - 1986) and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907 - 1993) were Danish architects and furniture designers. Together they founded the Hvidt & Mølgaard design and architecture firm in 1944. They designed furniture for companies like Fritz Hansen, France & Son and Søborg Møbelfabrik. Their works are represented at the MoMA in New York, the National Gallery in Melbourne and the Design Museum Denmark in Copenhagen.
