Bloomberry is an antiques dealer specialized in exquisite twentieth century design, founded in 2005 by Patricia Keurentjes and Leander Meerman. Our strength is that we read the past differently and do have a keen eye for yet little known masterpieces. Our company is housed in a former textile factory that spans 5.000 square meters. It is located just near Maastricht, in the south of the Netherlands, within two hours from Amsterdam, Bruxelles and Cologne. Only part of the collection is shown on the website. Jürg Bally was a Swiss architect and designer. He studied architecture in Zurich from 1945 to 1948. He worked at the offices of architects Alfred Roth and Le Corbusier. From 1952 to 1954 he spent time in the USA and Canada. In this period he designed furniture for Knoll International. Back in Zurich, in 1954, he started his own interior design firm.
Examples of projects he worked on are the furnishing of the passenger ship Basilea (1959) and a house for the 1964 World Expo in Lausanne.
